Space Mistake

Everyone makes mistakes, especially in space!

Don't feel too bad... just help out Space Guy with fixing his ship and you'll feel better in no time! Collect Fuel, Screws, and SMUSSMCs in THREE thrilling levels!!!

This was mostly just done as a way for me to get used to Unity, having not made a project in it before. I followed along with the excellent tutorial series put out by CodingInFlow on YouTube.

After finishing the series, I had a basic platformer ready and had learnt quite a bit about using unity and programming in C#. I then decided to add some more depth to the game by creating custom sprites for many things, parallax backgrounds, some particle emitters for certain objects, and even some simple cutscenes to create a narrative for the game.

I hope you enjoy what I've made. There's definitely a lot I would do differently when I create my next 2D game in Unity, but this was a very fun starting point! :)
